
10 EXCLUSIVE EVENTS
DAY 1
1.THE INTERVIEW STUDIO.

This is an event to test the credibility of students in a real-life job selection scenario and to help them learn from their mistakes.
Round 1-GENERAL APTITUDE TEST(Written)
1)Test will consist of 30 question over a period of 40 minutes.
2)Thegeneral questions (1-mark, 0 negative marks) each and 5 bonus questions (2 marks,1 negative mark) each. So 25×1+5×2=35 marks total.
3) Students (may vary based on circumstances) will be selected from round 1, the cut-off will be based on the average performance of students.
5) Program will be open to physically challenged participants.
Round 2-GROUP DISCUSSION(Oral)
1)Group of 5 students will be batched from the selected students.
2)Approx. of 20 min will be allotted to each group discussion.
3) A judge panel of 2-4 judges will be invited.
4)Marking scheme will be provided to judges.
5)On the spot topics will be given to each group.
6) Students will be selected for HR Interview.
Round 3-HR INTERVIEW
The filtered students from aptitude test and group discussions will be attending a formal HR interview.
Rules and Regulations
Students must come with their resume file.
Their dress code is strictly formals.
2.LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION

This event is for “special students”(deaf & dumb). An exposure for them to showcase their “Acting skills”.
ROUND 1
An Incomplete story will be proposed and they have to enact their own version of that incomplete story creatively.
ROUND 2
A short video clip will be displayed to each team and they have to dramatize rest of the scene.
ROUND 3
All the teams will be given some props to perform. Each team have to perform their own story line using all props with the given time.
3.XTRACT

Power Point Presentation
In this event students have to exhibit their communication skill mainly. Participants can join for this event as a two (2) member team or individually. Each team should bring their own topic based on science and technologyin which they have to prepare a power point presentation and explain it to the judges .The presentation should be attractive and interesting. The audience should understand the idea & Concept that is delivered. Questions related to presentation and doubts will be arised randomly by audience and judges to test them.
Marks will be awarded according to that08mins of presentation and the answers given to the 02 mins of questions raised by the audience and the judge. .
NOTE:
Students should bring their own science and technologybased topics.
General topics are not allowed.
Registration fee – 100
Pen drive should be brought by the students .
System and projector will be provided.

4.MECH BRAINIACS

Mech Brainiacs is an exclusive quizzing event for the studentsof Mechanical Engineering. The participants are questioned with the basic knowledge of Engineering by the quiz Masters.
This event consists of three rounds. The participant has to be in a group of two to take part in each round. The winner will be crowned as the “Mech Brainiacs”.
ROUND-1:
A set of questions will be given to each team and the top scoring teams will be qualified to the next round.
ROUND-2:
The teams have to answer the rapid fire questions and also solve the given Word puzzle within the time, top 5 teams proceed to the next round.
ROUND-3:
Technical components will be displayed with some functions randomly. The teams have to link components with their respective functions. The winning team will be crowned as “MechBraniacs”.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Two players per team.
- There won’t be negative marking for wrong answers.
- If any deceit is found, the teams will be disqualified.
- Discussion should be done only within team-mates.
- Judges decision is the final.
5.WILD MARKETING

‘Ads up’
Create an attractive promotional Advertisement on “Familiar things which hasn’t advertised yet” (creative).
For Example: comb, piece of chalk
Rules:
- The Advertisement must be in a “Video format” shot on any device, with a duration of 30sec (+15sec grace time).
- The ad prepared by the contestants must not contain any subject that hurts the feelings of culture / language/religion/institution.
- Props are allowed.
- The team should consist max of 5-6 members.
- If any vulgarity and disobedience is noted while competing, the judges will disqualify the team then and there.
- Judges decision is the final.
NOTE:
- Deadline to send your ADVT.VIDEOS is on 5th August 2019.

DAY 2
6.GEEKY MEMES

*ROUND 1:
‘ELIMINATOR ROUND’
- The template can be brought by contestants.
- The topic can be selected by the team from the judge’s desk.
- The event is a kind off solo “NO TEAM UP”
- Only 10-12 best meme creators will be selected
*ROUND 2:
‘CREATIVE SCIENCE MEME’
- Contestant should getthe template from the judges.
- The topic is also given by the judges.
- For the given topic and the template the contestants should create an impressive meme.
NOTE: The winning meme will be showcased in the sathyabama’s meme pages.
- All should follow the rules and regulation
- Meme should be in any language
- No team up
- Laptop, Internet connection and other devices will not be provided.
7.IDEAEXPO

It’s a platform to explore your project or research ideas to everyone. In this event students from all departments can explore their talents through power point presentation.
EVENT DETAILS
This event consists of only one round. The event is divided into 3 parts.
Part 1: EEE, ECE, ETCstudent’s presentation.
Part 2: civil and mechanical student’s presentation.
Part 3: Bio.Tech and physics, chemistry and other department student’s presentation.
Prizes will be given for each category.
Based on their presentation skill and knowledge on their core, marks will be given by the judges.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1) Duration for each power point presentation will be 8 minutes and 2 minutes for questioning. Maximum of two members are allowed per team.
2) Students should present their ideas. It should be clear and precise.
3)Students should complete within the time limit. No extra time will be given.
4) Before last 2 minutes warning bell will be given.
8.MOTHER OF ENGINEERING

Mother of Engineering consists of three stages
Stage 1:- Brickify Stage 2:- Fortify Pyramid Stage 3:- Scavenger hunt
It welcomes individual contestants.
Brickify :
Brickify is an individual task. Two contestants from two different teams will stand at the opposite corners. They start their walking on the bricks at a same time. While walking on the bricks they need to answer 10 questions which is handed over to them in a bit of paper. The two persons who are from opposite directions will meet at a certain point at the centre. One who reaches the centre part first alone can go through the exit.
The first who exits should have answered the questions correctly. The selection will be based on the number of correct answers and the exit timing.
The contestants should walk and answer simultaneously. They should not stand on a brick for more than 10 Seconds. They should not answer the questions after exiting.
The Winners of this task will be paired and made as one team by the organisers for the next round.
Fortify pyramid:
The teams have to make the tallest pyramid using the materials provided to them. The measurement will be done by the judges. The tallest pyramid constructor will be announced as the winner.
The first three teams will be selected for the third round, Scavenger hunt.
The Team will be split into individuals for the individual task Scavenger Hunt.
Scavenger hunt:
Using the clues the contestants have to find the treasure. This is an individual task. Discussions with participants and –nonparticipants are not encouraged.
9.PROREASTER

This event is for all the students and it is based on science concepts.
Round 1: (MCQ)
Multiple choice questions will be given to the participants. Answer must be in a word or sentence.
Round 2: (Buzzer round)
It is an open quiz contest based on Questions or pictures related to science and theories will be displayed. The participants are supposed to press buzzers and answer.
Round 3: (Bomb diffusing)
The task is based on Bomb diffusing and the participants should go through a set of questions. Those who answer the questions correctly, will be allowed to reach the bomb. The correct wire must be pulled out from the mesh to diffuse the bomb. If not, the buzzer will be turned ON.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Two players per team.
- There will be negative marking if the buzzers or blowers are blown before the question is completed.
- There won’t be negative marking for wrong answers.
- If any deceit is found, the teams will be disqualified.
- Discussion should be done only within team-mates.
- The team which diffuses first will be the winner.
10.SCI-TRIX

SCI-TRIX
ROUND 1:
Dumb Science
Each team
gets an opportunity to select and send their choice of best actor /actress
from their team.The finest actor has to select a chit from the ScienceBox. The
Science Box is filled with weird and fun scientific terms. The actor has to
express the word that is written on the chit through his acting talent without
lip movement, the next part of the team has to guess the word and identify the
exact scientific term conveyed.
*ROUND 2
‘puzzelification’
The event conductor flashes all team with a tricky and confusing puzzles and riddles. The curious team which comes forward first to solve it will be given the chance. The team that solves the puzzle with theirintelligence gains points.
ROUND3:
Guess It?
Each teamisexposed with some common
phenomenon of science through a video.The team has to identify the scientific
concept / principle and explain it correctly and accurately for points.
Accuracy of explanation plays main role here.The teams with basic knowledge of
the world around wins it !.
Note:
1.Teamscan gain points in every round.
2. The first three teams will be considered as winners.
3.There is no elimination
